CHOIR IN PUTRAJAYA

Pictures say a thousand words, yeah?

"Stand By Me" Concert....

Thank goodness for this concert that our spirit is finally back....
The concert was held in S.I.T.,Klang Parade and we were to arrive at 5.00pm sharp...
It was all dark, so those of us who have reached sat down... The Klang Chambers Choir(KCC) members were having a rehearsal.... OMG, they were so darn good...

Then, after them, it was our turn... our practice was quite terrible... Sir looked kind of angry because of the attendance.... After the practice, we were given 30 minutes or so to eat and everything....

So, at first we(Form 4s) went to the food court... and then we changed our mind; and we went to Mcdonalds...Whoa, almost half the choir team are there [what to do? we are fast food maniacs]...And, after eating we went back to S.I.T....Warm up with the KCC members.... OMG... even the warming up was so POWERFUL.... gosh... amazing

Then, I shall skip the make up and getting ready part, to the starting of the concert....
The songs performed by the KCC members is unbelievable... way better than Kepong School(no offence, really) which I thought was the best ever.... They were not using microphones and yet, their voice can be heard throughout the theatre... Laavanya's solo part with a guy was romantic [They were singing The Phantom of the Opera by the way]....

After that, it was our turn.... we kind of jogged down... LOL... we walked too fast already -.-"... On the stage, the spot light was too bright... we can hardly see anything except the first row.... and the conductor of course...Sir played the piano and Yunn Min conducted for the songs Malay medley and Shen An Doah [looking gorgeous in her uniform, might I add] LOL.... It was okay...
Next, JQ conducted for Chan Mali Chan and Hsiu Fong played the piano.... The song was okay too....

During the half intervals, some of us were given...you know those glowing bands used for concerts? to give out to the audience....
The Last half of the concert was incredible, breathtaking and absolutely awesome..... we went very very high...LOL... It was one of the best nights ever....

State Competition.....

Well, I think it's about time the secretary post something....
Erm, almost all the committee arrived at school around 6.20am...
So, the make-up session begins.... foundation, blush, lipstick, eye shadow, ribbons...etc
Then, I had to check the attendance...and guessed what?? Yi Chien was missing...
So, I called her up....and you know what?!? She forgotten that it's Competition Day... OMG...
Shocked me to death...LOL(No offence here)...
We boarded the bus after all members arrived.... at least we got the air-conditioned bus again..haha.... not as "high-tech" as last year's though...

Around 20-30 minutes, we arrived at Jubli Perak, Shah Alam...
Queued up two by two and went inside the hall... amazing as ever....
Then, I'll skip the part trying to keep everyone's hyperactive cells calm to the part sir comes and practice with us...
and we went to eat noodles.... and after that, we went into the hall...
But so unfortunate, we only managed to see one primary school performance and some dancing...because we had have to go out and practice...

Then, it's our turn... Sir told us to just enjoy ourselves on stage....and although, honestly speaking we did "quite" badly... but amazingly, we enjoyed ourselves, well, at least I did...
Then we listened to SMK Taman Melawati.... They're good... but got a little bit messy(no offence)--> just my opinion...
So, then we waited for the results.... The President and the secretary(me) slept our way throught the speeches.... *too tired doing the ribbons yesterday, I took two hours*...

Then, Results time.... Khas Juri goes to.... SMK Taman Melawati...*applause*
Best conductor goes to..... SMK Convent Klang...!!!
Hsiu Fong screamt like mad...LOL... Jian Quin looked so surprise... as we felt...
The gal who always knocked her head when she does something wrong got the best conductor.... but... have to say... we're proud of you.... Go Jian Quin....hehe
Then, third place goes to.....(we were holding each others' hands)... SMK Catholic High...
oh-uh......
Second place goes to.... SMK.... Convent Klang.... *SCREAM*....
really, Convent gals are so good at screaming like you won't believe.....
haha... and the First place goes to..... SMK Kepong..... *scream from them* *applause from us*

Then the next few minutes...or should I say hours... we went crazy...
Taking pictures here and there and with sir.... squeezing each other.... smilling like mad....LOL...
and then we've taken a few pictures with SMK Taman Melawati...hehe...

Well, then, we eat and went back to school.... The End....
